Palm Springs coming soon

I just visited Palm Springs and its small yet interesting art museum. Artwork from there coming soon.

I won't have Kwan Yins for you (no Asian art) but it's still interesting.

Palm Springs is in a very Republican part of California (Gerald Ford and Ronald Reagan were both fixtures), but at this time of the year, it tends to be overrun with party animals - both college students on spring break, and gay men. It can get very weird as a result - especially since the town has the atmosphere of both a party animal town and a Latin American theocracy (the latter due to its shared climate/architecture with Arizona, which IS a Latin American theocracy).

I've kind of faded away from this blog, due to my crazy work schedule and due to my concentration on featuring my Asian art treasures at Facebook instead. Will see what I can do to change that.
