Seriously do you have any description of the illustration for context? I just do not get why distort such a pretty face in such a destructive way.
I know he is trying to 'illustrate' something, but what? The monster within beauty? Beauty ruined? Is is suppossed to be an abstract decorative thought?

I am so not sure what the illustration is suppossed to be about, but without such context, it is just flat out creepy.
Almost like seeing a photo before and after someone scratches out someones eyeballs.
Very wierd. Good sketch work though, great lines, shadowing.
