Where was Freud when he might have been needed? Bloody hell. Lucky he was an amazing artist.
da Vinci - not Freud - I've seen some of his work.
going from bad to worse here so I'll quit whilst I'm behind.
Freud would have found Da Vinci quite stereo typical I think.
As far as Da Vinci goes, I find it funny that a man who was never known to be intimate with a woman would find pro-creation sex so repulsive. I doubt he ever tried it.
Like asking a priest to mediate your sex life. Why would anyone seek sexual advice from someone who is celibate?
Just seems a wee bit odd.
To me though, the funny thing about this quote is how true it is.
If not for those 'sensuous dispositions' and pretty faces, it would be rather repulsive.
