Her shoulder, see the stark outline of it? I almost added the faint outline of her breast, but I kept thinking, 'thats cool cause you can not tell which way she is actually facing'.
She might have her back to the wind, with arms crossed under that fabric, or she might be turning her shoulder into it and glancing over as she pushes against it.
Even her pose is a mystery.
BTW, my son named this one. Well, sorta.
He picked her up and ent 'Whooohoo! Pretty Mystery Lady!' Then kissed her forehead.
Christy, her shoulder always draws me too. It's so real and right, I feel like I could put my hand on her shoulder. I'll do what I can re the closeup of the eyes. She really is beautiful. And yes, she's a mystery all right. I also love the softness and lightness of the fabric.
And re the blog - I've made a few blogs but I can't be trusted to maintain them. Mostly they've been for other people and other reasons, but - who knows. Thanks anyway, Christy. What I really must do now that I've got better health - it's been a hell of a year - is get some more writing done to a publishable standard. AND try and find an agent to submit them. That's the part I'm no good at.

Christy - yes, I did read your story poems. I liked them very much. I wanted to let some time go between my readings and let them inhabit my head for a few days. The story reminded me very much of a writer friend of mine who writes teen-adult fantasy. Characters and storylines in parallel universes. I will answer properly when I work through your big work.
