The fascists on both sides of the Pacific have surely squeezed in an insult, in the form of California's gay marriage ban. But then, between its proud Reaganian tradition and its primitive Third World immigrants, California is a lost cause anyway.
But the message is nevertheless clear. Obama has won. And he stands for the real American values, and will build an America where everyone belongs - not just the rich, not just the Repukes, not just the Christians. The California Neanderthals' victory on the marriage issue will be short-lived.
Let's rock on. To celebrate, I will get Kelley's Blue Book values for my Nazi POS BMW, and start pricing a Hyundai Genesis. We are living in a new world, and I need a more appropriate car to go along with it.
