I'm posting this because I needed to light a candle, and I liked this one.  I don't know who the artist is.

A young woman - a student - who works in my office took her life last night.  She held such promise, but it seems her load was too heavy to bear.  She was a wonderful girl.  The college mourns, as do I.

Please say prayers for her family and her troubled soul.

Carol, that is a beautiful picture, considering its tribute. I'm so sorry for the young girl who died. I believe that some young ones cannot cope with the dreadful things that happen in the world. I know it was so with my nephew who finally succeeded in his suicide attempts. His heart would break with the horrors in the world.

I've believed that he finally found his peace and perhaps this is so with your coworker. She too, has found her peace. I feel confident of that.

Thanks, woz. Those words are comforting. I, too, believe she is at peace now.

I'm so sorry Carol.

It's always so sad when someone feels such hopelessness that suicide is the way out. Woz, I'm so sorry about your nephew as well.

I can not think of anything comforting to say.

I am sorry to hear that Carol. What a horrible thing to pass.

I was taught to believe suicide is for the weak. I don't believe that anymore.

Suicide is for the strong in weak moments.

May God be with all of us in those times of weakness.

Woz, to you too. My condolences.

We will all be together again in the afterlife.

Carol and woz, I am sure that they are both, in a far better place now. A place that I am sure will give them the peace they failed to have here on this earth.
