I did that to Young woman with a Pearl Earring too. Retro classic.
I don't know wtf I am trying to say.
Actually, I love this work, and fortunately I get to keep it since the one who commissioned it rejected its size. She loved it too but needs him on a larger scale.
I am glad too because the more I look at the actual canvas the more I adore it.
I guess he is still for sale, but for now hes mine.
I like this one too. You're really coming 'into your own' so to speak.
I have to admit that I think he looks like a cross between my husband and my brother in law (when they were younger).
Odd since I know you've never seen their pictures.
It's the hair and the eyes--maybe the shape of the mouth. I think if you were to go look at Nolie's pictures you'd see a little bit of her in his eyes or mouth too.
I definately see parts of them in that face though.
Maybe it's my imagination. Go look and tell me if I'm wrong!

Love it Christy. Especially the hairstyle - he wouldn't look out of place out in the street in 2008.
He does look strangely modern, doesn't he?

Christy...for sale for how much? Beethoven & I share a birthday...I'm thinking it might be nice inspiration in my practice room.
This is a smaller work than my normal canvases.
12 by 16 inches (roughly the size of notebook paper).
For you V, how about $30?
