I have been meaning to ask you if you would like a painting...? A gift, from me.
For a long time, there is a painting I want to try, and everytime I think of it, your name pops into my head. Or if you like I can paint anything you want.
(Abstracts subject to the limitations of my ability to think abstract thoughts. In other words it may take a minute.)

All I need to know is what color tint you want on the sky.
A purple stormy night sky, or a bright afternoon tinted with gold or yellow perhaps?
Even a red sky... Whichever matches your life best.
Once I set the skys tint then I will know how to finish the rest.
This will not be one of my usual works, and it is highly complicated (which is why I have thought on it so long instead of just doing it) so it may take longer to finish than a normal work of mine.
And if you don't like it, we can scrap it and come up with something else.
I am thinking very dark dark purple, approaching black, so that if you look at it one way it is black and another way it is purple, maybe with just a hint of a merlot-y red (i.e. a Homeric "wine-dark sea").
What do you think?

Would either of you mind giving me a digital print of your Bethovan? I am happy that V bought it because it was a great picture, but I'm pretty broke right now, so I knew I couldn't buy it from Christy.
But anyways, the eyes and face remind me of my family. So I'd like to just have a small printout of it.
