Matisse

At first, I thought it would be Picasso that I would study in depth, but then I remembered Matisse.
After I am completely familiar with his works, then we will be returning to the ancient world. Probably Egypt or Pompeii.
It should be one very colorful adventure!

Or Crete.
Ohhhh. Crete.
Hmmmmmmmm. What an interesting idea.

Thanks for all these inspirations. I need to go back to my college art humanities notes/textbooks one of these days - it's been so long all the great art I'd learned are simply fading away.
And Crete? Did you know that I have a thing for Cretan women (Jennifer Aniston being the prime example)? :)

Jennifer Aniston..OMFG ofcourse she is of their blood. I never really thought of that before.
I had often marvelled at her perfect face. She is pretty from every angle, in every expression.
That kind of beauty is really really hard to find. Most people only look good from two, maybe three angles, if they are lucky.
I think I just have a thing for women. There is nothing more beautiful or mezmerizing than a human female.
I mean, they don't turn me on, but they damn sure make me want to paint something.
Sexy men turn me on. Beauty is relative to the man. I think they got the better deal.
The human female form is indeed very marvelous... whether in sexual context or not.
As for Jennifer Aniston, nobody considered her pretty back in high school. She's the proverbial "ugly duckling."
