1867 Four Parts of the Earth
This unfinished work would have been a fountain in the gardens of the Luxembourg Palace with leaping horses, tortoises and the dolphins at the lower level. He finished the upper part with the four figures of Asia, Europe, America and Africa supporting the globe.
