Me too, the lines of her body are great. Her feet are perfect.Her face is kinda homely but that was the idealized style.Other than that it really is very pretty overall. serene and gentle.
What struck me first off was the darkness of the surrounds - just shades of black. The light, the brightness of the painting is the woman deep in thought. She looks very sad to me. Perhaps this is highlighted by the dark background.

I don't really see her as sad, just kinda weary. Like she has a long way to go ahead of her. Emerging from darkness into the light.At first I thought 'Sad' but the more I look at it the less sad she looks. Just kind of tired and ..sober, somber.Either way, she is so pretty!I just want to run my hand over that canvas.
